DRESS CODE: Knees and shoulders must be covered at all times for the entire duration of this tour.
We always pass the public crowds waiting to get inside the Vatican Museums.
Please try to avoid booking mondays and saturdays because they are the most crowded days in the Vatican state. If you need to book this day we have ways of avoiding those crowds but it is a good idea to avoid these days anyhow. "Better to avoid a problem than to solve it"
The fee for the full Vatican tour will include all ticket entry costs and the reservation fee which allows us to skip the entire public line. We will use the tour agency line every day which guarantees no waiting in the public queue. That's smart.
"The Vatican Museums, Raphael Rooms, Maps room, tapestries room, so many stolen Greek and Roman and Egyptian statues your head will spin. Don't worry though because we have ways of making this interesting without dumping it down.
Then you will see the Sistine Chapel, most time will be spent seeing the Chapel and talking about it.
After a short break we then enter St. Peter's Basilica. Believe it or not most people end up liking this the most.
In St. Peter's Basilica we take a full walk around its shape (when possible), we reveal the most amazing secrets of the Basilica and its art, doorways, mosaics, altars and then finally the most amazing piece of art inside St. Peter's Basilica, The Pieta by Michelangelo.
After the Basilica we take you to the Pope's Audience area to reveal St. Peter's Square which is so interesting it could be a tour on its own.
Some of our competitors say that no one can pass lines, or have tickets prepaid etc, that's only because they can't offer this service. We do pass the public line and do pre-buy tickets.
Other companies will offer to bring you to the museums later in the day, hoping there won't be a public line. You can never depend on public lines, that's why we always book tickets in advance.
This tour lasts around about 3.5 hours from the time we enter the museums to the time we say good bye to you.
Although the tour starts at 1 p.m. some folks might be a bit late but we do employ young Irish students whose job it is to wait for you. They will then get you into the museums to your group.
But please don't be too late and if you like you can tip for this service if you need to use it.
Our 1 p.m. meeting point is on our map , we meet on the steps across the road from the Vatican Museums entrance.
You can easily find us as the guide will be holding a yellowish umbrella with pictures of angels on it.
